About Daemosan

Daemosan was once also called Guksubong. Because its shape was said to resemble an old grandmother, it was first known as Halmisan ("Grandmother Mountain"). After the tomb of King Taejong of the Joseon Dynasty was built here, the name was changed to Daemosan by royal order.
